The SERU survey is a census survey of undergraduate students. It asks about a wide range of aspects, from academic skills through global engagement opportunities to civic engagement to financial considerations.
Gallup, in partnership with Purdue University, developed the Gallup-Purdue Index survey to assess the long-term success of college graduates in terms of their employment, their well-being, and connection with their alma mater.
The CIRP Freshman Survey is administered to incoming first-year students. The instrument collects information about incoming students’ academic preparedness, expectations, behaviors, values and goals, and financial concerns.
The Campus Climate survey was first administered in 2015 in partnership with the Association of American Universities (AAU) and 26 other colleges and universities. The survey captures student perceptions, knowledge of resources, and experiences with sexual assault and misconduct, harassment, stalking, and intimate partner violence.
NSLVE is a national study of college student voting behavior administered by the Institute for Democracy and Higher Education (IDHE) at Tufts University. The University of Virginia joined the study in 2014.
